7/21/12 -- Went to Gracie's (1801 Sonoma Blvd.) for some barbecue and to hear the Jazz. It was a great evening. Good food, good music. Diana Lang (vocalist) and her husband trumpeter Nick Phillips, Wolfgang Wein (bass) and others were just coming up on their last set when things ended with a bang. A car came flying through the intersection skidding towards the restaurant sideways after hitting another motorist; landing mangled on the guard rail in front of the restaurant.
Fortunately, nobody was seriously hurt. Close call for the folks at the outside tables though...
