I think I qualify as an "honorary Filipino" since my Greek father was born in Manila in 1918 ... long after Alexander The Great's father, Philip, sent an expedition East (or was it West?) that actually discovered the islands ... hence the origin of their name ... The Philippine Islands ... anyway ... so much for my history lesson ... the fiesta was fantastic ... pretty girls, great food (the term 'adobo' comes from the Greek root '

If you drove past there was no way you would have known what they the event was due to the tents etc. Me thinks you are just narrow minded.

It was a fun event and there was music, food and a good time.

By the way I am not Filipino. Just someone who likes to experience different cultures.

My wife and I drove past this event today and noticed all the Tee shirts for sale and other flee market like offerings. No Thanks.
