Former proprietor of Greenwell Medical Marijuana Collective Matt Shotwell is back with a new venture: Vallejo Gardens. Shotwell and partner Kip Baldwin are offering produce and various "Whole Foods" type products from numerous vendors in this new venture located at 620 Marin St. right next to Shotwell's former establishment. No cannabis here, but lots of good food. Here is a short tour of the grand opening. Looks like a much needed business in Vallejo's downtown food desert is off to a great start.
Vallejo Gardens is open on Mondays from 11-7.

A post card stated hours 8-6 pm I thought( I gave it to a friend who is very interested) but this website says 11-7 on Mondays?

Nice to see someone bounce back from adversity and start a new business so quickly. Many men would have been completely destroyed by the unjust destruction of their previous very successful business and multiple arrests. I hope one day those arrests are a badge of honor.

I don't often go to the V Farmer's Market because of the folks who make it NOT FUN. This looks like a healthier environment, I'm there!!!

After going through all the troubles I am glad to see a smiling Matt starting a new chapter in the city that broke his heart.
Even though I do not support MMD, I do want to thank Matt for his new endeavor.
I also think his community minded approach to use his facilities the other days of the week and community gardening is commendable.
Matt and a few other business owners opened new business in downtown recently and brought some positive energy into the place.
