Angelo found unity with the throngs of enthusiastic Vallejoans at this past weekend's Unity Day festival in City Park.
He also felt unity with the music, dancing and the selection of tasty foods. But especialy the tasty foods. In keeping with his Zen training...Angelo ordered several hot dogs and other delights using his long practiced and often chanted mantra:
Although I didn't have any sales again this UNITY DAY, it still made my day, when I saw your slideshow, beautifully and masterfully done by Angelo Paparazzi, leading off with a shot of my UNITY DAY 2012 FirePit. It was a beautiful day, weather wise, and the people that came out, I'm sure were amazed at the lack of turnout. But I believe everyone that did come out to enjoy UNITY DAY 2012, enjoyed themselves immensely. From the kids, to the adults. A little something for everybody. From the great music handed out by George Da'Plumma, of OZCAT Radio, here in VJO, to all the great music acts. It showed a true picture of Vallejo, albiet quite small. I hope you, my friends and neighbors, will still paticipate in yopur cities activities, and take sme home town pride, and love. I Thank still have faith, that Vallejo will claim her right to fame, as a well balanced city, fighting for everyone, and forgetting no one.
