A Happy New Year For Sure...

VIB is our "free press" but it's worth making a contribution.

Without VIB, there would be a lot of us who have gripes and snivels,
full of sound and fury, yet signifying nothing.

Here is a place where you can find some of the information crucial
to forming responsible decisions as a citizen of our Fine City.

And if you wish, you can post your questions, comments, or complaints.

Everybody, just send Marc a subscription. Maybe $5 a month or $60/ year. If any City money like VCAT is involved, they will attempt to control the editorial policy. Not a good idea.

Yes, happy new year Marc and the rest of the vib team. Marc, give us all an update on finances and what kind of time and costs are involved with your efforts. There should be a way to increase funding for this kind of community media work. I still believe some of the vcat funding should be applied to your site. VIB is hands down the best community media in Vallejo at this time. Bravo!

As I enter the second year of my Vallejo adventure, I do so with a good booster shot of information and opinion at this site which has provided an invaluable way to get to know some of the people and many of the issues in a small period of time.

May your readership blossom and grow. It can only make Vallejo a more welcoming place to live.

And to you Marc, keep asking the questions, given visual statements of the important moments that transpire. May the dulled be awakened by facts and impacts that theory we hope they are bothered to think of beyond their tiny pool.

Such important witnesses and chroniclers of the future must be groomed and developed - and independent.
