Captain Dredge always says : IF YOU SAY IT PROVE IT !!

That especially goes for candidates for elective office. Local office seekers are no exception.

S0-Michael Wilson, you tout yourself as a "Downtown Business Leader". We know you are a partner with your brother in an architectural firm and that you are not an architect. Well I talked to a few folks who have a major stake in the downtown and, although they know your name because you are a past president of the Chamber of Commerce, none of them were able to figure out how you are leading the downtown. So Michael Wilson-I am asking you to PROVE IT. Does leading the downtown simply mean that you have a financial stake  in the downtown and only care about that? What else have you done?

Speaking of the Chamber of Commerce, that's where you and Kurt Henke hooked up a few years back (you were both on the Board) when he was pushing you to run for the Council. Since you developed a close relationship with Henke on the Chamber Board and accepted the endorsement of the Fire Union, it looks like you and Henke want to continue business as usual ...which is good for your business and good for the fire union and bad for the future of Vallejo.

And you Erin Hannigan. The Times Herald has been telling us that you are an insurance executive. Did you tell them that? We know that what you really do is "manage a staff of 20 claims service assistants". You are not in charge of State Farm, you do not run their local office and you are not an executive. If you are, PROVE IT. You wouldn't be trying to pull the wool over the public's eyes like Mr. Sunga did with a degree from an online factory, would you?

What we do know is that you are closely tied to Kurt Henke and Jon Riley, you accepted the Fire Union endorsement and you bill yourself as a lifetime union supporter. That doesn't sound like an insurance executive. Just like Michael Wilson, you want to continue business as usual and let the Fire Union continue to run Vallejo. Say it isn't so!
