Well, more Union
running scared stuff. Seems
the local PAL (Police Athletic League) Office run by retired Vallejo
officer Mike Kollar is being used as a phone bank as well. Our
telecommunications expert says the main phone line going into the building
is capable of sustaining 25 or more lines. They have about 14 phones in
there and during the day, after or before policeman and fire fighters go
on shift, they are showing up to make phone calls to Vallejo voters.
They have to do it before they go on or off shift because so many
live so far away they don't want to travel here just to make calls. They wouldn�t be
doing this if their pollsters said their candidates were doing well in the
polls. Is it that Pitts,
Hannigan, and Wilson are coming in last according to David Binder Research
in SF? In any event, what about Vallejo School District property being used for this partisan political purpose? We understand that 301 Wallace where the PAL office is located belongs to the School District and is rented to PAL. 301 Wallace is also the location of the Vallejo Police Officers Association. Strange that Mike Kollar's step-son is Steve Gordon the President of the Vallejo Police Officers Association. Nothing incestuous going on here I'm sure.
