2/11/13 -- Here are some clips from the double rally in front of the Vallejo PD this past Saturday. Approximately 25 supporters of Vallejo's police assembled on the steps of the police station at Amador St., while 35+ in support of "Justice for Mario Romero," who was shot and killed by Vallejo PD assembled across the street. Police supporters arrived early and were already on the steps at 11:30 and left around 2 PM without incident while the assembly across the street still continued.
You forgot his numerous road rage incidents one in wich he almost ran over a Councilwoman , lord knows what he pulled off in NY before he blessed us with his presence .

@Vallejo Guy, this woman believes that the police killed her son and was wrong for doing so. Whatever you and others want to believe, she lost her son less than five months ago and is still angry and in pain. People do what they need to do to go through their grieving process. Regardless to what you and others believe about her son, she is a mother that lost her son in a very tragic and violent way. She has been disrespected and lied about by people on this website as well as other comment boards The very person who started the rally across the way has made personal attacks against her and her family. People refer to her and her family as animals. Kurshan tried to pit her and her family against Marc and VIB. That alone would cause one to be angry. So unless you have walked in her shoes, you can't simply demand that she move on and do something else.

There was a loud ignorant fool called Sam Kurshan standing on the steps. He said he would piss on the graves of the cops. Then when he dicided to run for office, he changed his tune. He's been to jail at least five times and has has seven restraining orders placed on him. He has done time in jail for domestic violence and making terrorist threats toward his live in girlftiend. He constantlytalks under women's clothes and loves talking about the smell of women's body parts, has an obsession about making comments about sex acts, incites hate mongers and racists, has lied about everything and everybody he disagrees with, threatens people and invites them to meet with him to fight. He has lied in court, filed court cases to get out of paying his bills, has no source of income and knows all about milking entitlement programs. He has disrupted city council meetings and been kicked out for acting like a raging idiot. He has been kicked out of every group he has tried to associate with and has no friends other than the ones who act like him. He also has threatened Marc on sevetal occasions and foolishly blames the website and everyone who posts here as being being anti-cop. He lied on his FPPC report and hid and lied about the money he received on his failed Recall attempt. That's about as ignorant, loud, disrespectful and foolish as you can get.
And that's the person who organized the Support Your Cops rally and standing across the street.
Black, Filipino, Hispanic, and Whites.....fixed it for you.

That's strange Firebug, you must be watching a different video than the rest of us. The police supporters included Black, Filipino, White and Hispanic. Pretty much as diverse and you can get although I didn't see any ignorant, loud, disrespectful and foolish behavior from the police side of the street.

What I can't for the life of me understand is WHY Mrs Mithchel do you take this traggic experience and speak, no yell to every young man you meet going down life's wrong path and beg them nor to end up like your son? We all saw the urine show with Mario throwing hang signs waving guns (real ones) and holding bags of dope like they were trophies. Put you anger and energy into preventing this from ever happening again. I understand that facing the TRUTH will destroy your case but all the money in the world will NOT BRING HIM BACK! But you could save another mother from going through what you are now. That's reality.

Maybe at some point you can pop your head out the dirt and take a look around you. The truth is hard to deny when you simply open your eyes. It's everywhere you look in Vallejo. Right there in the gutter with the dirty diapers, used condoms and blunt wrappers.
No, I'm not hateful or a racist or any of the other ugly things you've called me. Only sad, clueless souls who have no facts or valid opinions resort to that. What I hate is what is happening to the town I grew up in. The things I have spoke of are directly attributable to the high crime, destroyed schools, trash, graffiti, anti police sentiment, victims who won't cooperate with criminal investigations etc. But you go right ahead and continue to ignore it and deny it's existence, and get angry at the people pointing it out. That's really productive. You can't fix something until you acknowledge it's existence. And you are in deep denial.
I see you woke up all excited to find a news item that supports your hatred for the city. Almost in a glee you whip on that computer to type in a frenzy and then repeat it over and over again, picking your favorite thoughts that makes you feel clever.
Are you certain you aren't related to Sam? You share that obsessive compulsive behavior.
With so much loathing and hatred, hate for the people, hate for the city, it must suck being you.

I just read five people shot last night. Two homicides already this year. While you argue about corporate welfare to make yourselves feel smarter and more enlightened. A corporation isn't going to break into your house while you're at work, or kidnap and rape your mom while she's shopping. The bad economy isn't destroying Vallejo. The people who live here are.

No, I don't think all black people are on welfare. This family is though, raised 10 children on welfare. And society is suffering the ramifications of generational social programs. Lifelong victims who grow more angry and hostile the longer they remain ignorant and unproductive. It's just a fact people. And calling me a racist isn't going to change facts.

All of Vallejo's problems in conjunction with a mayor and city council who just aren't very smart or observant, come back to this.......
Our city is suffering directly from the effects of generational entitlement programs, ghetto thug culture and many liberals inability to speak truthfully about any subject that involves a minority. Figure out a way to deal with those problems and the rest will all fall into place.

I wonder what the people at the festival thought about Vallejo if they happened to drive down Tennessee st on their way to Mare Island? I'll tell you exactly what they thought....ick! Lock your door honey and dont make eye contact with anyone. If you're okay with that, that's fine. But stop attacking me for wanting better for the city I live in.

"You are right there in the gutter with them".
Again with the assumptions. Let's get one thing straight Ms. IMakeAssumptions, you have no idea who I am or what I think except about your silly attitudes. You are just full of yourself and if you were half as smart as you thought you were you wouldn't spend so much time whining and obsessing about that family. You would have made more of yourself and your career and would have been able to move to a place where there are no poor people for you to have to look fown your nose at. But you aren't, and you didn't so you play victim so that you don't have to accept responsibility for your mediocre life in Vallejo. Lol

Here we go with the racist bit again. I said you are a bigot. You made accusations agsinst a family that you know nothing about. You chase every article you can find on this family as if they have done something to you personally. You are a hate mongering bigot. These people have done nothing to you yet you are obsessed with them. You say that there is no need to insult yet you constantly degrade the members of this family. You are a narrow minded bigot that thinks all black people are on welfare even though you have no reason to do so. Except through your bigotry.

Chicago, Oakland, flint, Detroit, Compton, Vallejo, all suffering from the same issues. What do these cities have in common? A large population of low income minorities. Ignoring it because it involves black people isn't going to fix anything. Calling people who point it out racists isn't going to fix it. More social programs and money spent isn't going to fix it. Your way isn't working. It's time to admit that, and try something else. Your feelings might get hurt, but it's time to grow up and get over it.

You are certainly entitled to your OPINION as it seems to give you some sort of comfort thinking you are right even though you have nothing factual to offer. You seem to be the only person constantly irritated. You are subjected to your living arrangements by choice. If you have no choice, it's your fault. Stop playing the victim.
Just what is your point? You seem to thrive on hate mongering. Do you think what you do is positive for the city? Are you making any positive change? Why do you think what you have to say is any more important that anyone else? You seem to think that poor people have no right to voice their opinions. Whether you like what they have to say or not, whether they are right or wrong. There is a simple fix for you. You don't have to listen. These people don't come and seek you out like you do them. You seem to relish every opportunity to rant about a group of people that hold no ill will toward you. You constantly make negative statements about them and it's obvious that you don't know what you are talking about. You have nothing but your misinformed biased assumptions. You are indeed a hate monger.

You do quite the job of playing the victim yourself, blaming others for your misery, crying all the time about poor you. Why didn't you do better with your life so that you could have moved into a town that has like minded people and who have higher incomes? Can't afford it? Who's fault is that? Not mine. Still waiting to here how much money have you contributed to the support of the financially needy? You have worked what? Ten years in your life? So what's the amount?
Oh those facts don't matter either do they? Just like the fact that you don't really know if the people in the video ever received financial help or not. You just don't like them so you make generalizations. Right Ms. IMakeAssumptions??

First you say:
"Can I have the money I've paid out to welfare recipients for my entire working life? "
"Cut off their EBT cards. I'm tired of supporting these loud, entitled leeches on our society."
"Yes, the taxpayer has supported her and all of her ten children. It's also an integral part of the reason for the anti social behavior that her son was engaging in that caused his death"
"Can I have the money I've paid out to welfare recipients for my entire working life? To fund programs that have created what you saw in the video? Section 8, AFDC, calworks, child care vouchers, medical, SNAP, WIC and lifeline phones? Do I get all of that back too?"
All you complain about is the cost and when asked about how much money you have actually contributed, your answer is:
"I'm actually more concerned about the ramifications to our city and our society than I am about the financial cost."
You are sounding more and more like that other flip flop we refer to as HWSNBN. Both of you are hate mongers and bigots.

Food stamps are only a small piece of the ever plentiful California welfare state pie. As I've shown below. I've paid a lot more than 10 cents. And I shouldn't have to contribute one dime of my own hard earned money into proven failed social programs unless I choose to.

Yes, the taxpayer has supported her and all of her ten children. It's also an integral part of the reason for the anti social behavior that her son was engaging in that caused his death. It also affects their view of the world and the constant state of victimhood that they live in. As if they have zero responsibility for their own decisions and actions. That twisted reality then affects our society as a whole. Which is what we are witnessing now.
what

Had some concerns on how you might spin this Marc. Now I see there was no need for concern. Were all in this together as citizens. We all have diverse experiences and opinions. Some common ground needs to be found. The fact that we all need to feel safe (easier said than done) in Vallejo is a good place to start. I think there is enough room for everybody on that ground. There was enough room Saturday whatever the opinion was. Good job on this one Marc.
