Tour the craftsman bungalows and carriage houses in Vallejo's Saint Vincent's Historic District. Built in the late 1800s and early 1900s by shipbuilders based on the Navy's Mare Island, the homes seen on the tour will show a variety of architectural styles, beginning with Greek Revival and Gold Rush cottages.
City Park (one of the oldest English County manner parks in the Western United States) will be filled with entertainment, arts & crafts, and a Mad Hatter Tea Party that will host a welcoming reception for tour ticket holders. The self-guided or group tour of the homes will conclude at the McCree-Goudeau Gallery on Marin Street with a closing reception showcasing local artists inside and on the street offering music, wine, and edible delights.
The tickets support Saint Vinnie’s Community Garden and the popular Mad Hatter Holiday Festival that kicks off the holiday season in Vallejo.
