PODCAST with Doug Darling for OZCAT Radio 89.5 FM Vallejo

VIB NEWS ATTACK –  4/2/14 - This past Sunday, VIB took a boat ride with environmental activist Doug Darling on Vallejo's Lake Chabot. The lake, which is shared by Six Flags Discovery Kingdom and Dan Foley Park has been the topic of a previous story on VIB and Bay Area Channel 11 because of debris either dumped in the lake, or allowed to enter the watershed through negligence on the part of Discovery Kingdom. Images start at 1:35

Discovery Kingdom made promises to clean up their mess. They have done nothing. Structures along the shore continue to decay. Foam, pressure treated lumber, painted plywood, outdoor carpet and other debris continues to fall into Lake Chabot, a lake used by the citizens of Vallejo for fishing, boating and recreation.

Attached is a podcast with Doug which is being played on Ozcat radio. I have included pictures of the pollution both current and historic with the upload. OUR FULL VIDEO OF THE CURRENT POLLUTION AND DEBRIS, UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL WILL BE NEXT.

Isn't it time for Six Flags, a profitable multi-million dollar corporation, to stop dumping on Vallejo?

I URGE YOU TO BOYCOTT DISCOVERY KINGDOM VALLEJO UNTIL THIS MESS IS CLEANED UP.
