VIB went on a little field trip with Marianne Butler of the Solano Resource Conservation District and a bunch of third graders from Wardlaw Elementary School in Vallejo.

 

The Explorer Program helps kids learn about nature.  Great work, and they are always looking for volunteers.

Thank you Marianne and Solano RCD for providing this and other programs for our schools. It is refreshing to know there is some hands on environmental education out there for our youth.

SRCD has become a very active Environmental Educator for Vallejo's youth. Lots of feild trips!
