P.S. They have a good PA system at Touro...so no straining over the static here.

LOL! I support Measure B...but but but but but give us your money! The bottom line is do you trust the supporters of Measure B with $10,000,000? They have already proven they cannot spend $65,000,000 wisely why would any rational voter trust them with $10,000,000 more? What say you Hannigan, LOgan, Davis, Malgapo, Kurshan, and Matthias?

Thanks VIB for posting these videos online. Without this, I would have to base my votes on the 4 inch candidate statements in the voter guide. That, and who had the most signs up in people's yards.

I'm a much more informed voter now, thanks!

Best forum yet....clear and fast paced, good video and sound...well done. IMO.

Now about that municipality/school district question.

Councillors should be aware of the term "ultra vires" (beyond the power of) when discussing school issues.

The business of school boards and schools is putting children first and foremost..that is their single agenda.

The business of a municipality is business, and infrastructure and social programs....multiple agendas.

There is good reason why we have elected positions for each organization...each to infuse local values into the respective
organization's development. It behooves a Council and potential representatives to be mindful of those important differences.

McConnell brings the best suggestion- a specific Counselor appointed to liaise with the SD and bring forward regular reports to council. Promoting and partnering could also be included in that role.

Anything more is meddling in the business of the other organization, anything less is paying lip service to the importance of quality education in the community. IMO.
