Participatory Budgeting in FULL SWING

Vallejo's groundbreaking ParticipatoryBudgeting (PB) process is in full swing -- the community's embracing of this new process has been exciting!
After completing seven of nine neighborhood assemblies, we couldn't be more happy with your tremendous support and creative ideas in proposing over 250 project ideas for spending approximately $3.2 million of your Measure B sales tax dollars.
Your projects will make our community stronger and safer, and our city a better place to live.
As we enter the final stages of brainstorming project ideas, we want to reiterate our support for PB Vallejo and our intention to support this deliberative Democratic process from start to finish. We appreciate the time and effort that many of you are giving to this process and will continue to dedicate. We value not only your ideas and participation in the PB process, but also your ongoing dedication and commitment to making Vallejo a better place to live that reflects our collective values for building a healthy community and a high quality of life.
