Newswflash --High Speed Chase Ends in Fatality

2/4/14 – At shortly after 10 PM Vallejo police initiated a high speed chase of a red Lexus on Lofas St. in North Vallejo. The vehicle accelerated and ran with police in pursuit. The chase went through The Crest onto highway 37, down Sacramento St, back on 37 to 80 westbound at speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour. The pursuit ended at the highway 80, Curtola Parkway exit when the vehicle flew off the road at high speed hitting a tree and killing one of the two occupants. Police searched along highway 80 for an object thrown from the vehicle.
