4/10/14 – Well folks, seems that all the attention has finally shamed Six Flags Discovery Kingdom into cleaning up their mess around Lake Chabot and Dan Foley Park. A small Bobcat and a few workers were busy dismantling the decaying structures along the shore of the lake at the back of the theme park this morning.
Environmental activist Doug Darling has been the one to apply the persistent pressure that seems to finally have had pushed DK into doing what they should have done long ago. Thank you Doug! This looks like a good start!
Doug was also present on the lake putting a containment net in place (at the end of the footage) for the upcoming stocking of lake Chabot with trout.
