4/26/14 -- Got an invitation to visit with Vallejo FD on a training exercise at McIntyre Ranch off St. John's Mine Road. The old abandoned farmhouse made for an ideal practice burn. Firefighters from Cordelia, Crockett and Napa were also in attendance for the opportunity to study fire behavior in a controlled environment.

It did get pretty warm in Capt. Dan Sarna's classroom...300 or so degrees.  First time my camera shut down (temporarily) due to overheating...but the footage was worth it!
