Staffing Grievance Denied Without Prejudice Bankruptcy Court renders Binding Arbitration Moot

An effort by IAFF (International Association of Firefighters) 1186 to force Vallejo to comply with staffing levels set forth in the contracts and be subject to prior arbitration awards, has been denied without prejudice in a tentative ruling. Of course, this is a tentative ruling, so we still have to wait for a final ruling...but any change is very rare. This represents a big loss for IAFF and also renders Binding Arbitration clearly moot during the bankruptcy proceeding. We'll have more analysis on this going forward. Like I said before my bill is $150 every two months not my water usage....what is wrong with this...
