Wayward pig headed to new home

5/5/10--Great news! The CA Potbellied Pig Association (www.cppa4pigs.org/) has rescued Mr. Piggy! VIDEO Vallejo's own Bonnie Morgan transported him to UC Davis tonight, where he'll be neutered tomorrow. They have a wonderful foster care home set up to take him and care for him for as long as it takes to find him a good home. Unfortunately for Mr. Piggy, his days of chocolate cupcakes and lasagna are over -- it's pig chow for him from here on out!

With his sweet personality, he has charmed his way into a few hearts already, so hopefully it won't take long to find his forever home.

This was a team effort all the way -- concerned neighbors, co-workers, pig lovers and just people who care. He's a special pig who got very lucky. Thanks to all for making it happen, and thanks to the CPPA for their dedication to needy pigs!
