Editor's note: 

With the election season upon us we will try to get out candidate interviews as rapidly as possible.  The interviews with Father Lou are in two segments.  The religious stuff in part one, and the political focus in part two.  A separation of church and state so to speak. 

No candidate is required to engage in the religious topics interview.  This is strictly optional.  The mix of religion and politics is a touchy beast.  Separation of church and state is the law of the land.  Nonetheless, seeing how faith colors a person's point of view (or not) can provide an interesting insight.  One you will not likely see elsewhere.

We will be interviewing Dan Healy, candidate for Solano County Judge next, and are in the process of scheduling with Jay Speck, candidate for Schools Superintendent.  Feel free to send in your questions for Dan or Jay!

Father Lou's interview with State Assembly candidate Lee Pierce is being edited now.

Anonymous   |May.08.2010 Not even gonna watch anymore. I started with the political and right off the bat, Allen says he supports binding arbitration. I WILL NOT VOTE FOR ALLEN. And if he wins the primary? I'm voting republican. Thank you Fr Lou for asking that question right off the bat so I didn't have to waste my time listening to the rest of his "i'm a problem solver" bs. He and his boss Wiggins never set foot in Vallejo to help solve the bankruptcy/union problem. He's full of it.
