12/1/12 -- A little rain didn't wash out the caffeinated culture clutch and free coffee tasting at Moschetti Coffee this Saturday. Folks clustered inside and listened to the Neo-Skiffle Junk Yard Blues of 5 Cent Coffee. I mean...the coffee tasting is free at Moschetti' on Saturday...5 Cent Coffee is the name of the band. But the band, 5 Cent Coffee played for free, and the coffee was also free. So, 5 Cent Coffee is actually music, and the coffee is free at Moschetti's on Saturday. So was the music. Anyhow, Saturday's at Moschetti's Coffee on 11 Sixth Street in Vallejo have evolved into a great little art, music and coffee happening every weekend from 9 to 12. So, here's a little footage from earlier today. Shot in beautiful 8mm filmishness or something like that...
A Hiddenbrooke Fall (Panasonic GH2) from Ann Baldwin on Vimeo.
11/30/12 -- Here is a video from fellow Panasonic GH-2 shooter and Hiddenbrooke resident Ann Baldwin. Lovely images. And there are BUNNIES!!! (Go Bunnies!) (and other wildlife).
Also Golf Courses (and No Trespassing signs). Never could get the whole golf thing. Difficult, but I just don't get it. Now miniature golf...maybe. Sure is pretty up there in the hills though.
Thanks Ann, and a shout out to all you Hiddenbrooke folks from the old part of town: You say FORE!!! we say YO!!!
Been remiss with events and such on VIB since Ruscal Cayangyang had to give up Whazzup due to other commitments. Going to try a simple bulletin board... Stuff and Things... to give some attention to things going on around town. Please feel free to post events or etc. in the comments section as well. MG
