Am I really 3 meetings behind? The 18-pager bankruptcy treatise took up so much time. Now I am caught up until Tuesday… Why the Carl Sandburg quote? Well, I was thinking of these meetings as “post-mortem” since I really felt the passing away of any real change on council…and here we are in the same old world that seems to be controlled by the same old IAFF Union. Did you hear about the new revelation brought forward on at the March 25 Council meetings regarding employee evaluations? Everyone in the city gets evaluations but the Fire fighters. They apparently haven’t for about 20 years. See below under “Administrative Items” for all the lurid details…

First, we published Vallejo firefighter salaries. Many of you said, "Ooh!!!" and "Aah!!!" and "Wow!!" and "My God!!". But, there were a few whiners who wanted to see salaries for police and everyone else. So, we got that for you.
That really gave some people indigestion.

Hello VIB readers,
I would like to take a minute and introduce myself. My name is Joe Feller and I have lived in Vallejo for nearly 20 years. I have owned a small telecommunications company since I moved here and am both a tax payer and a tax collector for the City of Vallejo. When I sell equipment, I collect sales tax that then gets divvied up by the state and distributed to the city, so ergo, I am a tax collector also.
